Geoul sokeuro (2003)
Director: Sung-ho Kim
Synopsis: A former cop named Woo Young-min quits the police force after his partner was accidentally killed in a hostage situation on his behalf. Overcome with guilt, he goes to work for his uncle as the chief of security at Dreampia, which is a large shopping mall. Dreampia is in the process of being rebuilt and restored due to a fire that took place five years before. As the reopening date approaches, employees of Dreampia are murdered one by one in a grotesque and mysterious way, involving their reflections.
As ongoing police investigations are brought to Young-min's attention, he does not believe the explanation given to him. He notices the victims "committed" suicide using their opposite hands and decides to do his own investigation. A former acquaintence, Ha Hyun-su, is in charge of the investigation. Hyun-su is unfriendly towards Young-min because he blames Young-min for the death of their friend. As more clues are unraveled, Young-min discovers a new explanation. As he gets closer to the truth, he finds that sometimes the unbelievable is indeed believable. Faced with doubt and disbelief, Hyun-su decides to believe in Young-min's explanation and help him.

| Loved the concept of the movie. I just thought with that kind of playing field, it could've been soooo much better. maybe a 6/10... |

Yu Ji-tae is probably my favorite korean actor.
I love everything he is in but this movie just seemed to lack something.
cant exactly put my finger on it but as sage said, it could have been so much better.
7/10 (gets that extra point for yu) |

| I liked the concept of the movie as well, but there just seemed to be something missing. When I first watched it, I rated it as a 10/10. I'll have to watch it again to see if I would give it a different rating. |
