Ouch, it was an interesting concept, but yet again it was poorly excuited, its worth a watch if you have seen most of the other films on this site. I just hope Bangkok Haunted will be a lot better. There has been a few good Thai horror films of late and the quality is getting better but we are still a few steps behind the rest.

Colic

Director: Patchanon Thammajira

Plot Summary :
Pongpob and Praeploy gets married when Praeploy is unexpectedly pregnant. After the wedding, Pongpob brings Praeploy to his mother's house to settle down. The night before Praeploy delivers the child, the house next to theirs catches on fire. When the baby is delivered, he often screams and cries with no reason. The doctor considers it a case of colic ailment and tells the couple that the ailment will disappear when the baby turns 3 to 6 months old. Several months later, the baby still hasn't stopped crying...while the family's members encounter to mysterious and unexplained experiences.

Worth the watch...Some great sequences include the babies hand in the blender....Grandmother getting hit my car...babies head turning around....and my favorite is the hand stuck in the sewing machine....It was a good watch and I thought the acting was above par....I felt the tenseness throughout the movie...I was a little disappointed at the reason they gave for the past life haunting....but was still a nice revelation...I still am trying to figure out how they got the baby to cry so much...(maybe sharp rocks in his diapers?)...The sound of a baby crying will always keep you awake and did so throughout the movie....NOTE TO SELF---DONT KEEP FULL CANS OF GAS INSIDE THE HOUSE...AND MY GOD...TRY TO BABYPROOF YOUR HOUSE A TAD.....anyways, I enjoyed the creepiness throughout the movie....

I haven't seen Colic yet but Bangkok Haunted was ok.
