well did anyone else watch this movie?

lemme know if you did because i would love to tlak about this. it is one of my favs.

also guys, i am very sorry for my lack of attention to the site lately, i have been doing some things that just take so much of my time up. i am going to try to devote at least half of my online time to the site again. i dont want to see our little community fall apart because of me.
Also tomorrow i will be adding about 4 movies.

DP brother, i have an idea for the hollywood section. i will tlak to you about it. But as we know, hollywood movies are posted and taken down daily so its not very practical for doll or I spend 20 minutes on code per movie if its just going to be taken down the next day.
But i know my solution will bring more hollywood movies on a regular basis that you can do info for and what not.
cool?

I will set all this up tomorrow.

I watched this movie. Hmm I don't really know what to say about this movie hehe. It's sad that they weren't able to catch the murderer. I thought for sure it would've been that guy that they caught but after they received the DNA results saying that it wasn't him, I was surprised.

Yea maybe this wasent the best movie for discussion but it was really good.
I liked how through out the entire movie the policia where doing everything in their power just to end the case. No concern over if the guy was the right one and what would happen if he was not. Then at the end when the ex cop visited the crime scene and found out that the killer did the same just a few days ahead of him, that was great. Love mocking the police.

Yeah. It seems they didn't really want to find the killer - they just wanted to find someone to blame. It sucked how they beat up the suspects while interrogating them. Talk about police brutality!

HAHA
Kinda makes you wonder what would have happened had they not gotten the new cop.

Haha they probably would've killed all their suspects. Then there'd be no one left for them to torture!

I really enjoyed Memories of Murder,it was quite different to most serial killer flicks, usually we see a group of dedicated and competent detectives on the trail of a slick and sick serial killer in the big City, here we are presented with a group of un-professional and incompetent(Mostly) detectives on the trail of a slick and sick serial killer in a mainly rural area. The standard of detective work is almost slapstick in its ineptitude, the Director really works a neat balance between intentional humour and highlighting the slightly corrupt and farsical methods the detectives employ to solve the case.Despite their transgressions the detectives are still a likeable bunch and one of Memories of a Murder's strengths is the evolution of these characters, particulary the growth of the relationship between Park Doo-Man and Seo Tae-Yoon who have completely opposite and contrasting approaches to their detective work.Ironically this relationship will come full circle in a scene that that cleverly illustrates a complete role reversal when Park Doo-Man is forced to stop the previously very professional and conscientious Seo Tae-Yoon from killing the man he believed to be the Killer despite recieving DNA evidence that seems to prove otherwise. The final scene of the movie is quite rightly ambiguous, leaving you with more questions than answers,I thought this was neatly done as throughout Memories of Murder we see most of the story through the eyes of the detectives without ever being given any more insight than they themselves had, leaving us the viewer just as baffled and no closer to learning the identity of a Serial Killer who in real life was never caught.
