Malam Juman Kliwon
Yet another Indonesian horror soon to be released. This is a new offering from helmer ‘Koya Pagayo,’ (director of two of last years hit horrors ‘Hantu Jeruk Purut’ & ‘After midnight’) is the Indonesian frightener ‘Malam Jumat Kliwon.’ The film stars Ben Joshua, Gracia Indri & Debby Kristy. Production is through the local company Indika Entertainment.
Synopsis:
Once upon a time, a woman named Suci was brutally murdered. Before she died, she put a curse on the land where she was killed, and she swore that whoever stepped upon that land would die. Cut to the present time, four teenagers are on the run from the police for carrying illegal drugs. When they find a haunted house, they think that it’s a perfect place to escape. Yet, little do they know that soon death falls on to them in many unexpected ways.
