Hey gang,
I'm new here (literally just reg'd) so I wanted to say hello! I'm Ian, a 30 yr. old American expat living in Ireland. While I've always enjoyed certain areas of Asian cinema, I'm relatively new to Asian horror.
I watched some rather commercial American remakes of J-Horror films and enjoyed them enough over the last few years. Then my wife showed me a couple of VCDs from the Philippines (no subs, but I can kinda follow some of the dialogue... she tranlates what I don't understand) which made me decide to find the original Japanese films that I had seen re-made. Needless to say, I was blown away by how much more I enjoyed the Asian films. Now I'm just trying to sample the international smorgasboard of Eastern Horror!
I can tell you that I enjoy tense films, and I don't mind confusing plotlines and psychological mindtwists (a la AToTS, for example), but I'm not really into excessive gore. Blood and guts is necessary in it's appropriate places, but I wouldn't dig on cannibal films and the like.

| Hello there and welcome! Well, if those are the kind of films you like, you've come to the right place! :D Some of the movies have more blood and gore than others, but I'm sure you will be able to figure out which ones. :D |

Hi Jay! Welcome. On the homepage of this forum, there's an area in the middle that has a drop down selection with skulls on either side. You can select a category from that. :D That's the shorter way to get to the movies. You can also get to the movies by typing in http://www.thedollmaster.tk |
