Alone (Stolen from Sage)
Asian horror fans will know this is the 2nd horror film from the directing duo Banjong Pisanthanakun and Parkpoom Wongpoom who made the smash hit chiller “Shutter,” which is undergoing a Hollywood remake by Twentieth Century Fox and Vertigo Entertainment(arrggghhhhl). However, release date is yet to be determined.
Synopsis
Pim moved from Thailand to Korea to escape the guilt of being the surviving half of a conjoined twin. Flashbacks to Pim’s childhood show how the bittersweet relationship with her sister, and their commitment to stay together forever, transforms into a repressive bond that ultimately leads to a separation. After she returns to visit her dying mother, the spirit of her dead sister angrily thrusts herself into Pim’s life.

Good flick.
I wouldnt put it up in the ranks of shutter, but it does have some pretty spooky moments. However one thing that does kill it (at least for me) was how easy it was to predict the ending. |

I agree,anyone who enjoyed Shutter will enjoy this even though it's not quite as good.Like Knight said the ending was a little predictable and as such didn't have quite as much impact as you would hope for,still a pretty damn good movie though. |

Damn, I can't seem to get my DivX working and I don't know why. :(
I'll just have to wait for it to be loaded up on one of the other progs.
[EDIT] Ah, it seems to be working now... my windows requires me to click a bar to approve it first for some reason. Popup blocker perhaps?
Also, the first part of the film seems to be missing. |
