LOL, my bad, I should’ve clarify this thread; I was actually hoping you can describe some of these encounters. And since i did start this thread, i guess it's only right that i be the first to share:
In my old house, we had this big attic that my dad decide to turn it into a two bedroom floor. I got one room and my brother got the other. But he hadn’t install plumbing yet, so to use the bathroom we had to walk all the way down to the 1st floor. One Halloween night(Yes, I’m not being dramatic, it happened on Halloween) when I was 12, after going on the usual trick or treat stuff, I came with a huge bag of candies. I ate and drink and ate and drink(soda that is). Soon I had a headache(LOL) and decided to go to sleep.
Excess drinking was a terrible idea as I woke up in the middle of the night with a painful need to pee! Because our bathroom wasn’t ready yet, I had to run all the way downstair to the first floor to use the bathroom. And to get to the bathroom I had to pass the living room and then passed through the dining room. But as I sprint past the living room, in the corner of my eye, I could’ve sworn I saw this DARK, DARK humanoid sitting on our family sofa. I noticed it, because despite the room being so dark(It was probably around 2:00am), there was this even DARKER shadow of a man just….sitting there. The whole ordeal was under two second but there’s no way I can misinterpret the form of a man, especially when it was far darker than the surrounding. Sometimes I tell myself that it was the candies and the headache that played a trick on me. Funny thing was, it didn’t hit me until I was walking back upstair. That’s when I really thought about it and the hair on my arm just stood up!
This was the closest thing i've ever had to a ghostly encounter. Please share with the rest of us your encounters or any TRUE stories you’ve heard. |

I would've described my encounters, but I had a super lazy moment, haha. Alrighty, uh...Let's see. My grandfather, really, I think is the one that attracts spirits. We lived with him up until about three years ago and weird things always happened. In this new apartment without him, though? Not a single ghost. So anyway.
Our first house, I saw a little girl in the hallway. She looked to be about 5 or 6, sometime in the Victorian era based on her clothes. She was skipping around and I looked at her, she looked at me, and then disappeared into the bathroom. And of course she wasn't there when I got up to look.
Our second house, my grandfather once sat up most of the night having a conversation with my long-dead grandmother. That was odd. He'd talk about something that lived in his room. I never saw it, but it did freak me out quite a bit. Our dog Lucky would stand at the door of my grandfather's room and bark into the hallway and refuse to come out. He wasn't much of a barker otherwise. I did see what I thought was my grandfather come out of his room past mine and into the kitchen. I got up and followed him, checked the backyard to see if he'd gone out, then went back to my room only to discover the old guy was still sitting in his room in completely different clothes than whatever I saw.
We used to hear people calling our names a lot, things would go missing and then turn up in very obvious places days later...It was just all around weird living there. But again, moving away from him, nothing's happened. |

According to Cambodian legend, if you're walking all alone and you hear a voice calling your name three times, and you turn to face it all three times, the lost spirit will follow you home!!
anywayz here's another story i heard from this Cambodian lady I used to work late night shifts with:
During the peace days of cambodia, she was a nurse and was going about her nightly routine of checking on patience; making sure they're asleep and turning they're lights off. And as she was about to turn out the light, she heard a footstep. She thought it was a sleepless patience wandering, so she walk out of the room and into the hallway. It was empty.
Later that night, as she continued on her routine, she heard a distant sound of a woman crying. She followed the soft crying sound and it took her to the stairway. The crying became inaudible speech. She tried to make out what it was saying. She told me it sound something like: 'help me' (In khmer that is). She stood at the base of the staircase and suddenly everything stopped.
The rest of the night became weirder; as she continued on with her nightly task, she had this overwhelming feeling of someone walking beside her. She'd look left, right, backward, forward, but nobody was there. |

| Ooh, that's creepy. My best friend is fairly convinced there's some kind of entity living in her grandmother's basement. She said she'd go down there and just feel...heavy. And after walking a certain distance, she felt like something was watching her and then saw these glowing eyes staring at her. Her brother felt and saw the same thing, without her having told him about what she saw. Needless to say, she doesn't go in that basement. |

Why is that everytime i walk down a basement, it gives me the willy!! She still live in that house?
Well here's another one i heard recently, from my cousin.
My cousin and her boyfriend rented a cabin by some lake in seattle, last summer. One night, while they were sleeping, my cousin woke up to the sound of footsteps running around the bed. Was she scared? Hell Yeah! The girl didn't even open her eyes. So this whole ordeal happened while she had her eyes closed. First she can hear it running around the foot of the bed. Then it slowly walked over to her side of the bed. She knew it wasn't her boyfriend because she can feel him right next to her. She said she felt like someone was watching her! Then suddently it RAN to the other side of the bed, where her boyfriend was.
At this point, she was scared out of her mind. She resisted opening her eyes. Then it ran over to her side, again. Finally it slowly walked over to her boyfriend side. This is where it gets really creepy. The bed started to SHAKE!!! But then it stopped after a few seconds.
The next morning she asked her boyfriend if he felt anything weird the night before. He said no but he had a dream where he was in an elevator and that the elevator was shaking. |

I did. But these two women appeared to me in different time and different location. Once I walked by a small garden with an old well inside (no body used it). The old well was just there like a decoration of that garden or old town alfter all. It was around dinner time I was just returning from playing at my friends' house. Guess who I saw by the well? A woman in her early 20 turned her back toward me but her front was like she was trying to draw the water from the well. I thought she was a woman I knew in my town so I called her "Hi big sister Rose". She did not respond nor she turned her face toward me, just like she didn't hear me. I then felt unease so I walked so fast toward my house at the same time I smelt perfum from the area the woman standing drawing the water from the well. This time I started to get scared when I saw Bong Srey Rose was here when I got home. I asked her "Was you just at the garden by the well?". "What? I'm here all day until now" she replied.
I was ~ 12 and I was quite since then b/c I was worried that I will die and b/c I later heard the story of a 24 years old woman died long times ago in that area. I can swrea that I heard the bell ring from that direction (old well) and I often smelt perfum or beautiful flower just like "rose" almost every Sunday or the day we go to Church, while no body next to me could hear or smell. I was so sick and about to die, but then I came back after I prayed and asked for her help. Because I am Catholic I felt that the lady I encountered that everning was the Blessed Mother "Mary".
Another woman I met face to face was ~ an her early 50 or late 50's.
I got lost on my little bike playing with my other friends I suddenly was stopped by her. I was scared seeing her meaning face. She approached me and forced me to show my hand to her, so I did. I didn't understand at first but I was too scared so I did. I wanted to tell you all that if this old woman wanted to chop or kill me she could b/c my body seemed to be frozen, I was standing like a manequin. She then said in her deep voice "You will grow up to be........you will face obstacles nearly death...but you will overcome... now give me the price I read yours, not money but gold or diamond". I then gave her a diamond I always wore to her". It was a small pendant heart crowned with diamond. She refused to take it. I'm still wearing it.
For the 1st time during I was her prisoner she smiled a little bit, then she said "You are so sweet, kind and so generous, do good to others who need the most, your God is with you. I will again appear in front of your house when you become wealthy, and I will tell you what I want from you." she said, after she told me to go in peace. When I rode my bike back home I kept searching asking if anyone met the lady I met. Sadly the answer was none.
Until this day I have continued my work even a little to help some who need the most. Recently a little girl named Davik Teng (from Cambodia) needs to go to a big operation in the US, b/c her unhealthy heart she was born with it. I sent my help I saved a while in my peg bank.
I too was born with a heart disease; however mine can be curable by the natural cures if I'm lucky to find it.
My expereinces I shared with all written in my diary, and in my GOD 'm worshipping are all true.
I believe that there are other entities (ghosts) exist besides us. I also believe that there are other entities in other planets we earthlings have not yet met exist.
PEACE to All.
