Ok so my brother told me there was going to be a remake of The Eye. It will hit theaters February 1, 2008. I got pissed off lol. I like The Eye as it is. It doesn't have to be remade. Gosh, I hate when good Asian movies get remade.  Anyways, I saw the trailer on Yahoo movies and I must say, it's not as good as the original!! The Eye was great, but to be honest it was Angelica lee that made it great. Although.... Jessica Alba is in it... hummm.

It looks like it could hold some promise but that still is not saying it will be good.
I am in more fear of the latest list of remakes....
-oldboy (god i cringe when i wonder the many ways hollywood can screw this up)
-shutter
-a tale of two sisters
- I cannot remember the original name, but the movie Awake is a total rip off of a Korean movie i saw.
and worst of all....
-Suicide Club

Lol knight, I already gave the link to The Eye trailer.  It's cool though. Yes Angelica Lee made it great. I just can't imagine Jessica Alba in a horror movie. I mean she was in a horror-comedy, but I don't know how well she will do. I'll have to wait and see. |
