ok... we all knew this was being remade, but i have some high hopes for this one.
The director is Masayuki Ochiai, he is best known for:

Dark tales of japan
Tales of the unusual
Hypnosis
Parasite Eve
and probably the most popular, Kansen (aka, Infection)

As expected the story will change a bit, it is now set in Japan and it is in American couple. But. we will see!

Hmm interesting! I think I'll still love the original one, but I won't mind checking this one out.
